PCB assembly, from single prototypes to volume production

Surface mount, through-hole or both. We find the parts, build the boards and test them, so you receive assemblies ready to go into your product.

Choose how much you hand over

Every project is different, so we offer three ways to work with us.

  • Full turnkey.

We source every component, manufacture the bare board and assemble it. One order, one invoice, one partner accountable.

  • Partial turnkey.

You supply the parts you already hold or want to control, and we source everything else.

  • Consigned (free issue).

You provide all components and we focus on precise, inspected assembly.

SMT, through-hole and mixed technology

Surface mount assembly.

Components keep getting smaller, and most modern designs are surface mount. Automated placement and reflow handle fine-pitch parts and BGAs, with X-ray inspection for joints you cannot see.

Through-hole assembly.

Connectors, power parts and anything that needs mechanical strength often still go through the board. We combine automated soldering for volume with skilled hand assembly for low runs and delicate parts.

Mixed technology.

Most real products need both. We plan the process so that surface mount and through-hole stages do not compromise each other.

Component sourcing that protects your lead time

Finding parts has become one of the hardest parts of any electronics project. Global shortages, especially in semiconductors, can stall a build for months. Our sourcing approach is designed to keep you moving.

Held in stock Often in stock Sourced for you, free search
  • Free component search.

Send us your BOM and our team locates every part at no charge.

  • Free standard passives.

Common resistors, capacitors and inductors in standard packages are included free.

  • Stock on the shelf.

We hold large stocks of widely used parts, typically 40–60% of an average BOM, which cuts prototype lead times.

  • Partner network.

Strategic distribution partnerships with major manufacturers give us access to advanced and hard-to-find components.

  • Approved alternatives.

When a part is unobtainable, we propose equivalents for your sign-off, never a silent substitution.

  • Lead-time visibility.

You see availability and lead times up front, so there are no surprises after you order.

PCB assembly FAQs

What is the difference between full turnkey and partial turnkey PCB assembly?

With full turnkey we source every component, manufacture the PCB and assemble it. With partial turnkey you supply some components and we source the rest. You can also consign, or free-issue, all components to us.

Do you assemble both SMT and through-hole boards?

Yes. We assemble surface mount, through-hole and mixed-technology boards, from fast prototypes to volume production.

What happens if a component on my BOM is out of stock?

Our sourcing team searches our stock and partner network first. If a part is genuinely unavailable, we propose suitable alternatives for your approval to protect your lead time and cost.

Do you charge for component sourcing?

No. Component search is free, and standard passive components are supplied free of charge. You only pay for the other parts your build needs.

What files do you need for a PCB assembly quote?

Gerber files, a bill of materials with manufacturer part numbers, a pick-and-place (centroid) file, assembly drawings if available, and your quantities.
